You will be able to select, use, and apply a range of beauty therapy techniques, products, tools and equipment to provide:

 

  • Waxing services

  • Hand and nail treatments

  • Foot treatments

  • Facial skin care treatments

  • Eyelash and eyebrow treatments

  • Make-up application

  • Basic massage treatments (back, neck and shoulder)

  • You will be able to provide advice and recommendations on beauty treatments, appointments and service timings. You will also be able to facilitate the client journey, from appointments through completion of the services to handling payments whilst portraying the professionalism and values expected by the beauty therapy industry.

The VTCT Level 3 Certificate in Indian Head Massage is a vocationally related qualification that will prepare you to provide Indian head massage treatments to a high level of occupational ability, to enable you to provide your own services for clients.
This is one of two VTCT qualifications in Indian head Massage at level 3. Whilst both qualifications will qualify you to become a specialist Indian head massage therapist this qualification allows you to gather evidence in a realistic or real working environment without the need for real paying clients.

This is a vocational qualification and includes all the required elements to work effectively as a beauty massage therapist including mandatory units covering the following: body massage, pre-blended aromatherapy, client care, stone therapy, health and safety, Indian head massage.

Throughout this qualification you will develop your knowledge and understanding of relevant anatomy and physiology, health and safety, client care and massage medium products. You will develop a range of technical skills enabling you to provide a variety of relaxing massage treatments using different techniques. You will also develop interpersonal skills that will assist you to communicate effectively with clients.

 

The VTCT Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Services is a qualification that has been specifically designed to develop your practical skills in;

*how to provide facial skin care

*manicure and pedicure treatments,

*apply make-up 

*to be able to create an image based on a theme within the hair and beauty sector

The purpose of this qualification is to develop your skills in beauty therapy to a high level of occupational ability, to enable you to perform your own salon services.

 

The primary outcome of the VTCT Level 3 Certificate in Stone Therapy Massage is to prepare you to enter the specific sector of beauty therapy as a stone therapy massage specialist. All the units in this qualification relate directly to the specific job role of a stone therapy massage specialist

This is a vocational qualification and includes all the required elements to work effectively as a stone therapy massage specialist including, three mandatory units covering the following: applying stone massage therapy, health and safety and client care. This is the only VTCT qualification at level 3 which will qualify you to become a stone therapy massage specialist.

This is a vocational qualification and includes all the required elements to work effectively as a reflexologist including, mandatory units covering the following: knowledge and understanding of the principles and practice and business practice, anatomy, physiology and pathology for complementary therapies. You will also develop your understanding and practical skills to competently provide reflexology treatments.
Throughout this qualification you will develop your knowledge and understanding of relevant anatomy and physiology, health and safety, and client care. You will also develop a range of technical skills enabling you to use reflexology techniques for relaxation and to promote self-healing for your clients. You will also develop interpersonal skills that will assist you to communicate effectively with clients.
 

 

This qualification has been specifically designed for the 16-19 age group. This qualification includes

*anatomy and physiology,

*basic massage therapy techniques,

*basic reflexology techniques,

*basic aromatherapy techniques,

*healthy eating and wellbeing,

*clinic services

*business awareness.

Learners will have their knowledge and skills assessed in a real or realistic working environment.

Learners who complete this qualification are eligible to register with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) which is the government backed voluntary regulator for the sector. CNHC registration is compulsory for all complementary therapists who work in the NHS.

The content of this qualification is comprised of all the required elements to work effectively as a complementary therapist: anatomy, physiology and pathology, principles and practice of complementary therapies including health and safety, client care, client consultation; business principles, aromatherapy, massage and reflexology. The units which contain these areas are all mandatory.
